A cute, little project for the weekend - simply a house chaped thimble holder I picked up at the car boot for 50p, painted it white and decorated. I love it - its so pastel and pretty and looks lovely in my craft room too.

I came across this site yesterday whilst looking for some individual wooden letters and was amazed to see they also do acrylic letters - great prices at £1 for a 8-12cm acrylic letter and 35p for the same size in wooden. A whole range of different sizes and fonts too....off to create a shopping list now LOL

With the wonderful British bank holiday coming up I have decided to take some me time and do more crafting than normal as Ive been so run off my feet the last 2 weeks starting a new job.
I came across this gorgeous tutorial - I love Elle's Studio to bits anyway, take a look at her shop as she has some gorgeous tags that I have bought from her in the past, and fear not even though she is in the US she ships to the UK!
So the weekend will be spent making a few new cards and attempting this lovely project...now to find me an old book with yellowed pages LOL

Had a quick play today as I spent most of the day chilling with this gorgeous weather! The frame was a bargain 29p from Home Bargains, I simply took the glass out and decorated.
And a quick easel card which I have dying to try - theres a simple and quick video here on YouTube if you need any help, I think they are so lovely to make. Notice I played with my Texture Boutique as well!!!

Im so in love with these ribbons that I had to share with you!! I came across a fab site called Crafty Ribbons as I wanted to top up my ribbon stash and started to add a few pretties to my basket as they were really reasonable. One of the items I added was called Bev's ribbon bag and it was a mix of different spring ribbons for £5 - my jaw dropped open when they arrived! Normally Im ultra cautious with ribbon packs as there is always something I dont like and it ends up being a bit of a waste of money but these were amazing.
14 separate 1m length gorgeous ribbons in beautiful colours - some satin and some organza all between 1-2 inches wide. Here's a few close ups so you get a feel.
